God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus was begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a sinless human life. He was fully God and fully man. He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead bodily after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory where He lives as our High Priest and Advocate. He will return personally again someday to earth to reign as King of kings, and Lord of lords.
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives, as the Comforter, in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.

People are made in the spiritual image of God; to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us willfully sin - which is disobedience toward God. This causes us to be separated from God eternally and causes many problems in life. That is why we need salvation. That is why Jesus died on the cross for our sins. His sacrifice paid the price for OUR sins so we could be redeemed and saved from eternal punishment, called Hell.

We believe that mankind is separated from God by sin. Christ’s sacrificial and substitutionary death on the cross satisfied God’s wrath against the sin of mankind. Only by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior can anyone receive forgiveness and be saved from sin’s penalty. Salvation is God’s free gift of grace to us, but we must accept it. Salvation is a process where we confess our sins, repent of our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, are buried with Christ in Baptism, and live a Christ-ruled life. We can never make up for our sins by self-effort, self-improvement, or good works. Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. It is the grace and sustaining power of God that gives us this security.
